Eat More, Weigh Less by Dr. Ornish. This method focuses on low-fat food products and veggies. It’s okay to consume “glow” foods but it warns about consuming egg whites and non-fat dairy. The downside of this method is it makes us low on calcium and it also prohibits us from consuming seafood, poultry and other healthy food alike.

Eat Right for Your Type. This type is different from the others weight loosing diet since it is based on people’s type of blood. People with O type are okay to consume lots of mast. However, for other type of blood besides O type, this diet will create imbalance nutrition intake and also low on calorie. Besides, there hasn’t been any record to support the idea that blood type has any correlation with diet.

The Pritkin Principle. This method suggest us to eat lots of watery food so that we would feel full thus reducing our calories intake. All food products that are low on calories such as fruits, vegetables, soups, pasta and oatmeal have the light green. However, this method also prohibits us from consuming protein and calcium.

Volumetrics. This method is similar to Pritkin in terms of refraining from consuming calories. The same types of food are also okay here except crackers, popcorn and pretzels. This one is considered as healthier than Pritkin since it will provide enough fiber from the fruits and vegetables and at the same time low on saturated fats and calories.

Weight Watchers. High carbohydrates, moderate on fats and proteins. A very healthy diet plan and very flexible too. It allows the dieter to plan his own meal rather than give him a set to follow.
