Anti Smoking and Weight Management Advice

People are of the opinion that the most common disease that a person who smokes is likely to get affected with is Lung Cancer. Although this reason is important enough for quitting smoking, but apart from Lung Cancer, most of the smokers are also very prone to heart related problems as well. The harmful chemicals and by products which constitute a cigarette lead to an increase in blood pressure, decreases the flow of oxygen to the heart, increases the risk of clotting and blockages in the blood etc.

Apart from this, people suffering from other diseases like, Diabetes, High Cholesterol levels, High Blood pressure, obesity etc. and are regular smokers, are the ones who are most often than not prone to a heart attack. These diseases slowly and slowly start effecting the proper functioning of various organs of the body and tend to have devastating effects.

Most of these diseases have an adverse effect on the normal functioning of the heart, which in turn has to apply extra effort to maintain the constant supply of the blood through out the body. Moreover, the arteries also tend to accumulate plaque deposits ultimately getting clogged and leading to stroke or an attack. Being a smoker and suffering from any of these diseases is very dangerous for your health. On top of this, if one is suffering from the problem of excess weight, then there is a manifold increase in risk of having serious health related issues.

Keeping a check on the weight with a proper diet plan is very important apart from getting help in quitting smoking. The situation can have alarming and dangerous after effects on the health of the individual.

Weight control and the habit of smoking are the two vices which can be controlled by the individual himself. These two either individually or in conjunction with each other have the ability to deliver that knock out punch, chances of emerging unhurt from which are quite difficult and bleak. It is imperative for people to adopt a healthy diet plan in order to ensure that they are able to control the food intake and only required types of healthy food goes into the body. A proper exercise regime should be started in order to burn those extra fat deposits which are accumulated in the body. Utmost care should be taken as smoking apart form having an effect on the individuals directly also affects others who are in contact with smokers, passively. People should make changes in their daily lifestyle routine in order continue living and savoring a healthy life.
