10 Tips to Reduce Fat in Your Diet

Here are ten useful tips to reduce fats in your daily meals. It is easy and you can try it.

  • Grill, boil, bake or cook vegetables in microwave oven, or stir-fry them in a little quantity of oil.
  • Tanged vegetables with spices instead of cheese, creamy sauces, or margarine.
  • Try Citrus juice or nonfat dressing on salad, or prefer a yogurt based dressing as an alternative of mayonnaise or oily dressing.
  • To cut down saturated fat try olive oil or tub margarine as an alternative of cream or butter when practicable.
  • Substitute whole milk with fat-free or low-fat milk in sweet dishes, soups, and broiled products. Replace plain at-free yogurt, low fat cheese and butter milk in recipes.
  • Prefer thin cuts of meat, and snip any apparent fat from meat before and after preparation. Get rid of skin from chicken before or after cooking.
  • Steam, broil, or grill beef, chicken, or fish, so that adipose tissue drains away as the food is prepared.
  • Choose a nonstick cooking ware so added fat will be unneeded, use a vegetable atomizer for frying.
  • Freeze stocks from meat or poultry until the fat becomes firm. Skim off the fat before using the stock.
  • Eat a low-fat vegetarian main course minimum at one time a week.
